Message from the President

“60 Years of Music!”

Dear Guild Members and Friends,

Hopefully, the snow has melted, and we can look forward to an exciting March full of Guild events! We have two concerts this month. On March 1, Bryan Cheng will perform on the cello, conducted by Greensboro native Chelsea Tipton. The second is our POPS concert on March 22. If you missed Cirque du Symphonie last year, you won’t want to miss it this year! Christopher Dragon will conduct.

Tuesday, March 11, is our Shopping Day at J. McLaughlin, located at 301 State Street, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Stop by for refreshments and to browse their beautiful spring collection.

Our annual Spring Fling at Steinway Piano Company is on March 12, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. This is always a lovely event featuring amazing young talent from our local colleges.

A new event will take place on March 26 and 27, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at the home of Debbie Faircloth. Stop by either day to explore the fanciful spring/summer shoe line from Charleston Shoe Company. You’ll be able to order your favorite styles to be delivered straight to your home—what fun!

I hope to see you at all these events or as many as your schedule allows. Happy Spring!

Fondly,

2024-2025 President
