“60 Years of Music!”
Dear Guild Members and Friends,
We have a jam-packed March and April ahead, and I hope you’ll join us for all the fun!
This week, the Symphony has been performing for students across the county. Amy Evans and Renee Angiulli have shared their expertise, guiding 3,000 children through the Tanger Center for concerts from Tuesday through Friday. A huge thank you to them and to our volunteers who helped make this event a success!
Tomorrow, Saturday, March 22, we’ll enjoy our finalPOPS Concert of the season at 7:30 PM at the Tanger Center. Cirque de la Symphonie will be conducted by Peter Dragon—don’t miss it!
Next week, we’re debuting a new fundraiser, the “Shoe Party,” on March 26th and 27th from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Debbie Faircloth’s house (701 Hobbs Road). Stop by to check out the latest spring styles from Charleston Shoe Co. Debbie and I will be there to assist you with selections and orders. All Guild orders will ship free to your home, and Charleston Shoewill donate a percentage of sales to the Guild.
Looking ahead to April, the Love N’ Music Tennis Tournament and Luncheon returns to Starmount Country Club on April 24th. It’s filling up fast, so get your reservations in soon! Players begin at 8:30 AM, while non-players are welcome at 12:00 PM for lunch and a fashion show by DressCode Style. A huge thank you to Annie Hadgkiss for chairing this year’s event!
Lastly, The Guild’s Booth (#11) at Golden Antiques and Treasures needs your donations of spring décor, garden motif items, bunnies, as well as lamps, pictures, mirrors, small furniture, and home décor. Jan Cox and Bonnie Cieneck will be at the booth on the third Thursday of each month from 1-3 PM to accept donations, or you can reach out to them for possible pick up. Your contributions help support the Guild.
