SPONSOR HIGHLIGHT

At Quaintance-Weaver Restaurants and Hotels, we believe in the power of genuine service. Our commitment to serving the communities we touch sets us apart from most other companies.

QWRH is home to several beloved local destinations: O.Henry Hotel, Proximity Hotel, Green Valley Grill, Printworks Bistro, and Lucky 32!

Romance is on our minds much of the time—why else would we make our life’s work in romantic restaurants and hotels? It is also on our minds because we’ve noticed that many of the people staying at the O.Henry or Proximity are couples from nearby who are spending a day or three (most stay for more than one night) at these romantic places. It is our bet that they are there for any number of lovely reasons. We’ve also noticed that more people are out for weekday date nights in the restaurants. Isn’t that nice to hear?

Don’t miss your chance to book a romantic dinner and an overnight stay!

EVENT RECAPS

Wine & Nibbles Member Social

The Symphony Guild Wine and Nibbles Social at Epic Chophouse on October 15th was a wonderful success! More than 40 Guild members mingled for an evening of friendship, laughter, and lively conversation. The atmosphere was warm and inviting as members mingles, enjoyed delicious bites and sipped wines.

Several members brought guests, and we were thrilled that a number of them chose to join the Guild that evening! Events like this truly showcase the spirit or our organization offering a fun and relaxed way to connect, share our passion for music education and welcome new members into the Guild family.

A warm thank you to all Guild members who attended the social. We are grateful for your enthusiasm and support!

Major Sponsor Appreciation Party

The Guild is deeply grateful for our Corporate and Individual sponsors’ continued support of music education in our community.

We celebrated them at our Sponsor Appreciation Party on Thursday, October 16th at the lovely home of Kristie and Greg Smith. Guests enjoyed a delightful evening of fellowship accompanied by delicious food and wine. Thanks to some of our sponsors, Gia’s who set up and catered the food, ABBA’s beautiful flowers and wine by Vintage 82.

Chris Eaton, Director of Development and Public Relations at the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra, spoke about the upcoming concerts at the Tanger Center. He highlighted the Guild’s instrumental role in helping more than 16,000 students from three counties attend four days of concerts.

Many thanks to the Smith’s for opening up their home to us, and to the party committee for their efforts in making this event so special.

A BIG thank you to our wonderful sponsors. Your generosity enables us to continue our support of the orchestra and music education in our community.

We hope you will consider renewing your sponsorship next year!

Debutante Paint Your Perch Party

The 2025 Debs had a blast at the Nailed It DIY Studio Paint Your Perch Party on July 30th. Each girl brought her creativity to life by designing and painting her own custom stool—from butterflies to bold graphics, no two were alike.

It was an evening full of laughter, paint-splattered aprons, and plenty of artistic flair. What a fun way to celebrate friendship, imagination, and the special season ahead.

Thank you to the BraswellCavinessLovvorn, and Shoffner families for hosting!
