School Concerts Recap This seasons school concerts were held from March 18-21st at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts. It was another fantastic year where our Guild members partnered with the Greensboro Symphony, Greensboro Police, Guilford County Schools, Asheboro City Schools, Randolph County Schools, Rockingham County Schools and private schools throughout Guilford County. Some shows had maximum capacity (2,861 seats) and others the numbers were a slight bit lower. Each day we welcomed in 4,000+ students to experience the Greensboro Symphony first-hand. It was so encouraging to listen to their conversations when leaving Tanger Center. This experience would not have been possible with out the Guild’s wonderful volunteers. Whether they gave one shift or made it for all four, their assistance was crucial. Each student was met with a smile and a welcome. Thank each of you for making this a special event for our students and giving of your time to help carry the load. Because of your willingness to help, some students may pick up an instrument and start making a joyful noise. A special thank you to Renee Angiulli for making sure each child had a seat for their performance. Even when we were overbooked, Renee made it work. In preparing for next year, Kimm Rountree and Val Woliki have agreed to co-chair the school concerts for the 2026 season.
