The Classics Spring Gathering

On May 15th we held a gathering of The Classics—a cherished group of longtime Guild members, including some founding members. These dedicated supporters met this week to celebrate their ongoing commitment to the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra.
Guest speaker and Principal Guest Conductor Chelsea Tipton gave an inspiring preview of the Masterworks Concert: Mozart’s Requiem.

Guild members also heard an exciting update from Orchestra President Lisa Crawford about the Dean and Marilyn Green Rehearsal Hall and the many events already underway. (Stay tuned for more details about upcoming projects!)
Special thanks go to Anne DanielKitty Robison, and Ellen Taft for organizing this wonderful event. We’re proud to celebrate The Classics and their years of passionate support. Enjoy the photos of this remarkable group!

On May 14th, our Debutantes and their Mothers gathered at the Greensboro Country Club for the cherished tradition of the Mother-Daughter Luncheon. It was a beautiful occasion where our committee members had the pleasure of meeting this year’s Debutantes for the first time, making it all the more special.

We are immensely grateful to our 2025  Presentation Ball Chair, Brooke Fields, our gracious Hostess, Peggy Hamilton, and Committee Chair, Joanne Lahey, whose extraordinary team—including Cindy BatesAnnie HadgkissSusan PorterPauletta Root, and Susanne Simons—along with Karenna & Lydia, 2024 Debutantes, who modeled their Debutante dresses. Thank you all for making this event truly memorable.

Next up is the Family Picnic, and we can’t wait to reunite with our wonderful Deb Families!
