The Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts partnered with the Greensboro Symphony Guild to host our biggest gala fundraiser “A Notable Night Under The Stars” on October 14, 2023. We enjoyed a wonderful evening of delicious food, drinks and auction on the third floor of this state of the art facility!  Afterwards attended the Pops Concert “Ruben Studdard Sings Luther” accompanied by the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra.

This venue has a seating capacity of 3,000 seats to host a diverse array of events from touring Broadway productions and concerts to Guilford College’s Bryan Series, Greensboro Symphony Orchestra performances, comedy shows and family friendly entertainment. As a cultural hub with beautiful decor and amazing acoustics, come experience the arts in this extraordinary venue that stands as a testament to Greensboro’s commitment to enriching the community through world class performances.

This week Tanger Center will host approximately 20,000 elementary students from surrounding counties to a dynamic concert performed by the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra. This concert is sponsored by Music Education Funds raised by the GSO Guild.

Eagle Wellness Services

Erica Wallace, DO, of Eagle Wellness Services is our newest sponsor. She practices Family Medicine and is Board-Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine & diplomat of American Board of Obesity Medicine. She absolutely loves using her background in Family and Obesity Medicine, as well as Nutrition, to help patients to become healthier in a weight-inclusive environment. She works hard to get her patients healthy, happy, and thriving!

Even though almost three-fourths of Americans are overweight or obese, there are only 6,000 doctors that are certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. There is a lot of misinformation and misunderstanding about the causes of obesity and Dr. Wallace spends a lot of her time focusing on treatments and strategies that optimize your ability to live life to the fullest.

If you’d like to learn more about the current best practices for managing weight, Dr. Wallace is accepting new patients. You can reach her at Eagle Wellness Services, 336-268-4100.
