Music in the Middle Volunteers Needed!

Kim Riley News

It’s that time of the year … Music in the Middle. Volunteers will help to unload the buses and escort the students to their assigned places in the auditorium at Grimsley. It’s a great way to enjoy time with your fellow Guild members while helping the kids enjoy the concert–and you’ll enjoy the music too!

The faces of our middle school students say it all! These concerts are an amazing and special experience for our Guilford County students. Many are experiencing symphony and concert music for the first time!

You’ll want to mark your calendars now for October 31 and November 1 to support this event. We will need at least 25 volunteers EACH DAY to help out at the Grimsley High School Auditorium so that our young students can have a wonderful musical experience. Volunteers will assist students as they enter and exit the auditorium.

Please volunteer from 8:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. on one or both of the program days. Parking passes, coffee, water, and snacks will be provided for all Guild volunteers.

Please contact the Program Co-Chairs, Brooke Fields (gotobrooke@yahoo.com) or Sarah Hearn-vonFoerster (sarahhvf@gmail.com) if you have any questions.
