Scavenger Hunt February 2010

Our Thrill Of The Hunt Scavenger Hunt and party afterwards were a huge success. What drove this new event for the Guild was a sense ownership in our work - the pride in building an imaginative and creative event from scratch, and making it fun.  It cannot be stressed enough that when we do something, it is first class all the way!!

 

The hugest of thanks go to the committee members whose vision made this work - Lex Kulman and Olivia Gillespie, the wonderful chairs, who conceived the idea and literally produced it.  Nancy Beaver and Jan Simon planned the auction beautifully.  Incredible help came from new Guild members Diane Bost and Georgia Linebeck. So many other committee members (and husbands) made this event possible and special thanks go to Mark Littrell, Lindsey Nail, Leigh Ann Safrit, Joan Stevenson and Melissa Tankersley. You are thoroughly appreciated.

 

Many Guild members contributed immeasurably by donating their own personal beach homes, mountain homes and items from their businesses. The Guild so grateful to each of you. There are also Guild "angels" who believe in us and support us financially. They ensure our success.  Rodney and Mary Ingram were our "angels." And Southern Engraving donated the cost of the invitations. How lucky we are to have them!
